I work with computers and thought that I would review any new products that I buy and use through my job.

I will be reviewing the Video7 19″ TFT widescreen monitor.
I bought 12 of them for the ICT suite in one of my schools and I used this company.

Well to start off I was impressed by how cheap it was for a 19″ TFT widescreen monitor.
I then opened the packaging expecting to find a cheap looking monitor made of some plastic that resembled thick rice paper.
To my amazment I found that it was superbly made and had a real quality feel to it. I have a 19″ Xerox monitor at home and these monitors could have been made my the same people and one have Video7 printed on it and the other have Xerox.

Next come the plugging in part of the installation which was trouble free, as to be expected really. I booted the machine and waited for it to load, when I had eventually set up Windows I was quite pleased by the colour and contrast. It was much brighter than the previous CRT monitors that they had. I was glad because the room is flooded with the sunlight during the summer months so these new ones will help out a lot.

I always use 3d Mark 2001 to test new computers and the graphics looked fantastic on the monitor and its all down to the mixture of colour contrast, resolution and the super quick response time of 8ms.

The built in speakers are not to bad for being so small but they are more than enough for what they are being used for.
One last point is that out of the 10 I bought there was not even 1 dead pixel. These are truely top grade monitors for a truely great price.
